![]() The way the dungeon was presented didn't really help make that clear for a reader. It wasn't supposed to be approached as a megadungeon hackathon, but instead as a sort of place of politicking and scheming. Temple of Elemental Evil was supposed to be a module where you really needed to know the interrelations of the different level inhabitants. We touched upon this idea in this thread and maybe a couple of others. They close this section about the errors in the book out with a comment of "Imagine being a teenager back in 1986 trying to run this thing." I get a feeling of general aggravation from the writer about how many errors there were, and they emphasize how the original text back in the day passed from editor to editor. I did notice a section which talks about errors in the original modules. I haven't looked much at the redo of the Temple. I mainly only browsed the book with the original reprints and the initial Hommlet redo. Oddly enough they're placed BEFORE the Hommlet portion? ![]() I saw that a few extra encounters are presented. Then it's reprinted in it's context of the T1-4 supermodule. It's reprinted once for it's original standalone module appearance, with the green cover simply displayed as an alternate cover instead of a full reprint. In my quick flip through, I noticed they only reprinted Village of Hommlet twice. Each book is slightly larger than a standard one of these reincarnations, and there are two of them in the slipcase. The Goodman Games reprint/redo of Temple of Elemental Evil arrived today.
